Now that so much of my written content is distributed through social media platforms, what is the real purpose of a personal webpage? Since I don't want to write all my content twice (once for external media, and once for website), there seems to be little value in this site.

That is, unless, I make this an aggregator of my various media outlets. Which is what I plan to do - I just don't know the timeframe
